Lecture Title: From Preparation to Submission and Publication: A Series of Seminars on SSCI Paper Writing

Abstract: This series of seminars will provide a detailed introduction to the key points of writing SSCI empirical quantitative papers, combined with practical cases. It will cover topic selection, paper structure, argumentation techniques, as well as specific submission processes, journal selection strategies, and experiences in responding to reviewers, aiming to facilitate academic publication.
Biography: Prof. Li Qinghai is a Professor at Nanjing University of Finance and Economics, holding a Ph.D. in Management and serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow. His research focuses on digital economy, education economics, microeconometrics, and socioeconomic statistics. He has published over 60 CSSCI/SSCI journal articles in prestigious journals such as The Quarterly Journal of Economics, The Journal of Quantitative & Technical Economics, China Economic Review, Research in International Business and Finance, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change. Five of his papers have been fully reprinted by Renmin University of China Reprinted Materials. He has led multiple national and provincial projects, including sub-projects of the National Social Science Fund Major Project, the National Social Science Fund, the National Natural Science Fund, and the Humanities and Social Sciences Project of the Ministry of Education. He is recognized as a distinguished talent in Jiangsu Province's "333 High-Level Talent Training Program" and the "Qinglan Project for Outstanding Young Backbone Teachers" in Jiangsu Higher Education. His students have won numerous awards, including the First Prize in the American Collegiate Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM), National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program for Undergraduates, and Provincial First Prize in the "Challenge Cup" Competition. He also serves as an Executive Council Member of the New Economy and New Employment Professional Committee of the China Labour Economics Society, a Council Member of the China National Economic Accounting Research Association, a Guest Research Fellow at the China Institute for Income Distribution, and an Expert Member of the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association.
