Lecture Title: Perturbations of exponential maps
Speaker: Cui Weiwei (Professor, Shandong University)
Date & Time: 3:00–4:00 PM, Tuesday, May 13, 2025
Venue: Room 1420, Huiwen Building
Abstract: We study perturbations of parameters in the exponential family. We shall first present a joint work with Magnus Aspenberg on perturbing non-recurrent maps (i.e., exponential maps with non-recurrent singular values). Then we will describe a work in progress on perturbations of more general exponential maps. Some open questions will also be discussed.
Biography: Cui Weiwei is a professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the Research Center for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences, Shandong University. He mainly engages in the research of complex dynamical systems and complex analysis. He has published several academic papers in international academic journals, including Proc. London Math.Soc.,Comm. Math. Phys., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., IMRN, Math.Z., J. Anal. Math., ETDS.
All faculty and students are welcome to attend!
