Lecture Title: On the L-functions of meromorphic modular forms
Speaker: Dr. Weijia Wang (Postdoctoral Fellow, Chinese Academy of Sciences)
Date & Time: July 1, 2025, 10:30–11:10 AM
Venue: Huiwen Building, Room 2433
Abstract: In this talk, we study the L-functions associated with meromorphic modular forms. We construct these functions using a regularization method and explore their analytic and arithmetic properties. We will also present an extension of the Eichler–Shimura theory to the setting of harmonic Maass forms. This is joint work with Hao Zhang and Zikang Dong.
Biography: Dr. Weijia Wang obtained his PhD in 2020 from École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, France. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Chern Institute of Mathematics, Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on modular forms, L-functions, and analytic number theory. His work has been published in journals including Finite Fields and Their Applications, Mathematika, and Journal of Number Theory.
All faculty and students are welcome!
