Lecture Title: Clique-Factors in Randomly Perturbed Hypergraphs

Lecturer: Professor Jie Han (Beijing Institute of Technology)

Lecture Time: September 3, 2025 (Wednesday), 10:00–11:00 a.m.

Venue: Room 501, Huixing Building

Abstract: Randomly perturbed graphs have been a recent hot topic of study, which interpolates the study of embedding problems in ordinary graphs and random graphs. In this talk, we will present some recent results on finding clique-factors in randomly perturbed hypergraphs. Joint work with Yulin Chang, Patrick Morris and Lin Sun.

Lecturer's Biography: Jie Han is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Beijing Institute of Technology. His research interests include graph theory, combinatorics, theoretical computer science, and subgraph problems in hypergraphs. He received his Ph.D. from Georgia State University in 2015, and from 2018 to 2020 served as a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the University of Rhode Island. He was awarded funding from the Simons Foundation (20192024). In 2021, he was selected for the National High-Level Young Talents Program and joined the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Beijing Institute of Technology. He has published over 70 academic papers in journals including Transactions of the American Mathematical Society.
