Abstract:
In this talk, I will briefly introduce the main content of three interconnected topics in smooth ergodic theory and fractal geometry: ergodic optimization, thermodynamic formalism, and multifractal analysis. I will also summarize some open problems and recent progress in these research areas.
Speaker Profile:
Zhang Yiwei is a Professor at Anhui University of Science and Technology and the USTC-AUST Center for Fundamental Mathematics. His research primarily focuses on ergodic theory and fractal geometry. He has published over 30 papers in journals including Journal of the European Mathematical Society, Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Mathematische Annalen, Advances in Mathematics, Annales de l'Institut Henri Poincaré, International Mathematics Research Notices, and Journal of the London Mathematical Society.
