Title: L-functions of Meromorphic Modular Forms and Their Zero Distribution
Speaker: Associate Professor Zhang Hao (Hunan University)
Time: 10:30-11:30, November 11, 2025 (Tuesday)
Location: Huiwen Building Room 1420
Abstract:
This report discusses meromorphic modular forms and their associated L-functions. We construct the corresponding L-functions via regularization integral techniques and prove their analytic properties. Furthermore, we demonstrate that these L-functions possess infinitely many zeros on the critical line and provide precise estimates for their zero-density. This work is a collaboration with Dong Zikang and Wang Weijia.
Speaker Profile:
Zhang Hao is an Associate Professor at the School of Mathematics, Hunan University. He received his Bachelor's degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2015, and his Master's and Ph.D. degrees from École Normale Supérieure Paris and Sorbonne University (France) in 2017 and 2020, respectively. His primary research interests include modular forms, L-functions, cohomology of GL(n), and Hecke operators.
