Abstract:The Hirota equation can be regarded as a modified nonlinear Schrödinger equation with high-order dispersion and time-delay corrections to the cubic nonlinearity. In this paper, based on the global existence and L2 -conservation law of the Hirota equation, using a Darboux transformation technique, we establish the L2 -orbital stability for a family of Hasimoto soliton solutions of the Hirota equation on the line.

Speaker Profile:Gaozhan Li , a postdoctoral researcher at Tsinghua University, graduated from the School of Mathematical Sciences at Fudan University. His research interests include integrable partial differential equations and methods for the Riemann-Hilbert problem. He has published multiple papers in journals including Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society, Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Journal of Differential Equations, Science China: Mathematics, and European Journal of Applied Mathematics.
