Title:Secondary Terms in the Moments of Special Maass L-values
Speaker:Professor Zhi Qi (Zhejiang University)
Time:9:00-10:00, Mar. 30, 2026
Location:Room 2331, Huiwen Building
Abstract:In this talk, I'll show that there are secondary terms in the mean values of Maass special L-values. This curious phenomenon is rare in the moment conjectures and is previously known only for the cubic moment of quadratic Dirichlet central L-values.
Speaker Profile:Zhi Qi is a researcher under the “Hundred Talents Program” and a doctoral advisor at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Zhejiang University, and has been recognized as a National-Level Young Talent. His research focuses on analytic number theory and representation theory. His primary work includes the analytic theory of high-rank Bessel functions and their applications in the study of subconvex bounds for automorphic L-functions, as well as integral formulas for Bessel functions over the complex numbers. His research findings have been published in academic journals such as J. Eur. Math. Soc., Adv. Math., Math. Ann., Amer. J. Math., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., and IMRN.
Faculty and students are welcome to attend!
