报告内容:In this talk, we shall discuss a sequence of orthogonal polynomials defined via a recurrence relation, which arises from the studies of quantum mechanics. The non-uniform asymptotics is derived based on a pioneer work by X.-S. Wang and R. Wong, and the uniform asymptotics is established based on the turning point theory developed by Z. Wang and R. Wong.
报告人简历:李玉田毕业于香港城市大学。研究领域包括渐近分析、偏微分方程、科学计算和金融数学,在 Anal. Appl., Constr. Approx., J. Approx. Theory, J. Comput. Phys., J. Sci. Comput., Proc. Roy. Soc.-A, Quant. Financ., SIAM J. Sci. Comput., Stud. Appl. Math.等杂志上发表论文30余篇。
