报告内容: We introduce the hybrid parabolic-hyperbolic effect for heat equations with memory in the lower-order terms. Especially, the hyperbolic effect means the solutions have the propagation of singularities along the time direction (i.e., "wave" with velocity zero). This hybrid effect is then used to establish a two-sided observability inequality for the same equation, which permits to recover the initial data in an optimal Sobolev space. Besides, we derive a sufficient and necessary condition on the observation domain for this inequality. This talk is based on my joint works with Prof. Gengsheng Wang and Prof. Enrique Zuazua.
报告人简历:现为天津大学应用数学中心副教授。研究方向为分布参数系统的控制理论。最近主要关注带记忆偏微分方程的分析与控制问题。
