报告题目：L-functions and automorphic representations

报告内容：L-functions are central objects in number theory. They are closely related to the distribution of prime numbers and to the arithmetic of elliptic curves, as highlighted by the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture. With the development of the Langlands program, automorphic representation theory has become a fundamental tool for studying L-functions. In this talk, I will first give a brief introduction to L-functions, and then discuss several related topics in automorphic representation theory.

报告人简历：许宾，现为四川大学数学学院副教授，于中国科学院数学与系统研究院取得博士学位，主要研究方向为自守表示理论及其算术应用，研究工作发表于Amer. J. of Math., J. Reine Angew. Math. ，Int. Math. Res. Not.，Sci. Chi. Math. 等国内外期刊。
