On the afternoon of April 15, Wang Yu (Secretary of the Party Committee), Ye Xing (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee), Sun Zongliang (Director of the Basic Mathematics Department), and Tian Lifan (Counselor) from the School of Mathematical Sciences visited Nantou Primary School for exchanges and an internship base signing ceremony. Participants from Nantou Primary School included Zhang Jing (Principal), Wang Weiqun (Deputy Director of the Teaching and Research Office), Ji Peipei (Head of the Mathematics Teaching Group), and teacher representative Zheng Simin.

During the event, Principal Zhang Jing warmly welcomed the delegation from the School of Mathematical Sciences and emphasized the significance of this collaboration. She stated that Nantou Primary School would fully support the construction of the internship base, providing practical platforms for students through systematic and organized internship programs to enhance their teaching capabilities. Principal Zhang particularly highlighted that interns should "participate in practice with critical thinking," deepening their theoretical knowledge in real teaching scenarios to achieve professional growth. Secretary Wang Yu expressed gratitude on behalf of the School of Mathematical Sciences for Nantou Primary School’s support. She noted that the establishment of the internship base serves not only as an important link in talent cultivation but also as a new starting point for deepening cooperation between the two sides. In the future, the School of Mathematical Sciences looks forward to leading multi-level collaborations with Nantou Primary School in basic education research, teacher development training, and other fields through joint Party building, jointly exploring innovative paths for collaborative development between universities and basic education institutions.

Subsequently, representatives of both sides formally signed the internship base cooperation agreement and engaged in in-depth discussions on subsequent internship arrangements and cooperation details. This signing marks the beginning of a substantive cooperation phase between the School of Mathematical Sciences and Nantou Primary School. The two sides will give full play to their resource advantages, promote the organic integration of educational theory and teaching practice, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of basic education through resource sharing and mutual empowerment, contributing to the cultivation of high-quality mathematics education talents and the service of local education development.
