To thoroughly implement the general requirements for Party building in the new era and promote the deep integration of grassroots Party building and disciplinary development in colleges and universities, on April 17, 2025, Wang Yu, Secretary of the Party Committee of  School of Mathematical Sciences of Shenzhen University, led a delegation to College of Mathematical Science of Yangzhou University for special research. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on core issues such as innovative Party building, talent cultivation, and student employment.  

At the exchange meeting, Guo Li(Secretary of the Party Committee of College of Mathematical Science of Yangzhou University) detailed the college's Party building work, including organizational structure, Party branch construction, measures for cultivating outstanding teacher Party members, support systems for young teachers' growth, and characteristic practices in student management. Secretary Wang Yu shared the Party building experience of School of Mathematical Sciences of Shenzhen University, focusing on the "Warmth Workshop" Party building brand project, and systematically explained mechanisms for talent introduction, development of high-level teacher Party members, and student cultivation. Gao Yan'an, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of College of Mathematical Science of Yangzhou University, shared insights on daily student management and employment guidance. The two sides reached multiple consensuses on student cultivation and management, career planning follow-ups for graduates, and school-enterprise cooperation cultivation models.  

In the Party branch construction exchange session, Ji Zhongya(Secretary of the First Undergraduate Party Branch of College of Mathematical Science of Yangzhou University) and Li Min(Secretary of the Department of Information and Computational Science Party Branch of School of Mathematical Sciences of Shenzhen University) shared experiences on key links such as Party branch project cultivation mechanisms, excavation of characteristic highlights, and optimization of application materials. They discussed how to transform Party building advantages into disciplinary innovation momentum and conducted in-depth discussions on common issues in grassroots Party branch construction in colleges and universities.  

Subsequently, the two sides held a joint study and discussion meeting on thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Central "Eight-point Decision." Guo Li(Secretary of the Party Committee of College of Mathematical Science of Yangzhou University) led the study of the "First Agenda": General Secretary Xi Jinping's important article Accelerating the Construction of a Cultural Power published in the 8th issue of Qiushi Journal. Wang Yu(Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Mathematical Sciences of Shenzhen University) led the study of the third special topic of Excerpts from Xi Jinping's Discussions on Strengthening the Party's Style of Work. Participants delivered speeches and engaged in joint study and discussion around the theme: "The core of the style issue is the relationship between the Party and the people."  

Through on-site investigations, case analyses, and mutual learning of experiences, this research injected new momentum into building a "Party building + disciplinary" dual-drive development framework for the two universities. Both sides expressed their intention to take this exchange as an opportunity to jointly write a new chapter in the integration of Party building and career development in colleges and universities in the new era.
