Lecture Title: The Integrable Ermakov Structure and Elliptic Vortex Solution in the Inviscid Gas-Liquid Two-Phase Flow
Speaker: Prof. An Hongli (Nanjing University of Science and Technology)
Date & Time: 4:00–5:00 PM, Thursday, March 20, 2025
Venue: Room 207, Zhizhi Building, Shenzhen University
Abstract: The inviscid gas-liquid two-phase flow is an important physical model with wide applications in natural sciences, engineering, and biomedicine. In this talk, we propose a novel elliptic vortex ansatz. We demonstrate that the (2+1)-dimensional inviscid gas-liquid two-phase flow admits an integrable Ermakov structure and elliptic vortex solution.
Biography: Prof. An Hongli is a female professor at Nanjing University of Science and Technology, an awardee of the "Qinglan Project for Outstanding Young Backbone Teachers in Jiangsu Higher Education," a supervisor of Jiangsu Provincial Excellent Graduate Academic Theses, and a "Zhongshan Scholar - Academic Rising Star" at Nanjing Agricultural University.
