Title: Output regulations for unstable wave equations

Abstract:
In this talk, we discuss the output regulation for unstable wave equation by using adaptive control method and internal mode principle. Firstly, based on the adaptive control method and backstepping method, we obtain the regulator which makes the error between the output and the reference signal become zero asymptotically. Moreover, the unknown parameters are estimated. Secondly, based on internal model principle and backstpepping method, we also obtain the regulator. Moreover, by using this regulator and by magnitude phase-locked loops method, the output regulation for the frequencies of the exosystem being unknown is sovled.
Speaker Biography:
Zhou Huacheng is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Central South University, and a recipient of the National-level Young Talents Program. His research primarily focuses on control theory for partial differential equations and disturbance rejection control. He has received the Special Award of the President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published numerous papers in prestigious international mathematics and control journals, including IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Automatica, SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, ESAIM: Control, Optimisation and Calculus of Variations, Journal of Differential Equations, and Scientia Sinica Informations.
