Title: Exponential mixing for the randomly forced NLS equation

Speaker: Researcher Xiang Shengquan (Peking University)

Time: 15:00-16:00, November 21, 2025 (Friday)

Location: Huiwen Building, Room 2433

Abstract:

We explore exponential mixing of the invariant measure for the randomly forced nonlinear Schrödinger equation with damping and random noise localized in space. This study emphasizes the crucial role of exponential asymptotic compactness and control properties. This talk is based on recent joint work with Yuxuan Chen, Zhifei Zhang, and Jia-Cheng Zhao.

Speaker Biography:

Xiang Shengquan is a Researcher at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University. He obtained his Master's degree from the École Normale Supérieure (Paris) in 2017 and his Ph.D. from Sorbonne University in 2019. His research focuses on control problems for partial differential equations and stochastic dynamical systems.
