报告题目: Gradient decay of the Boltzmann equation with non-isothermal boundary

报告内容:In this talk, I will discuss the regularity of the dynamical Boltzmann equation in a convex domain. The Boltzmann equation exhibits singularity near the boundary, we introduce the kinetic weight and establish a weighted $C^1$ regularity of the dynamical problem. We prove that dynamical solution converges to the stationary solution in the weighted $C^1$ regularity exponentially fast. Based on the weighted $C^1$ convergence, we further prove that the dynamical solution also converges to the stationary solution in $W^{1,p}$ regularity for $p<3$. This is based on a joint work with Chanwoo Kim.
报告人简介:陈泓旭,香港中文大学数学学院博士后。2022年获得美国威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校数学专业博士学位。主要从事偏微分方程的研究工作,主要研究方向是动理学方程和流体力学方程。
