报告题目: On the Distribution of the Error Term in the Dirichlet Divisor Problem

报告内容：In 1992, Heath-Brown first found the limiting distribution function for the normalized error term in the Dirichlet divisor problem. His work was influential and attracted researchers in mathematics and mathematical physics. Regarding the rate of convergence and decay of the distribution function, we obtained some results about 20 years ago. In this talk we will review the background and these results and look at the very recent work of improvement due to Lamzouri.  

报告人简历：刘旭金，香港大学数学系教授，博士生导师。刘旭金教授的研究工作涉及经典解析数论、自守形式和L-函数等多个领域，至今已在国内外数学刊物上发表50多篇论文。
