On the afternoon of April 8, a delegation led by the Dean of School of Mathematical Sciences of Shenzhen University, visited Shenzhen Foreign Language School (SZFLS) to carry out a special "Enterprise Visits for Employment Expansion" initiative. The goal was to deepen collaboration between higher education and basic education, broaden employment channels for mathematics normal students, and promote precise alignment between talent cultivation and job market needs. Participants included He Shiming, Secretary of the Party Committee of SZFLS; Fan Yongquan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Principal of SZFLS; Li Yong and Guang Lei, Vice Principals of SZFLS; He Haihui, Vice Chairman of the Labor Union; representatives of the high school mathematics teaching team; as well as the Dean of School of Mathematical of Sciences of Shenzhen University, Ye Xing; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Sun Zongliang, Director of the Basic Mathematics Department; and Tian Lifan, Employment Counselor.

The two sides engaged in practical discussions on collaborative cooperation between higher and basic education. Secretary He Shiming highlighted the school’s academy-based cultivation system, achievements in mathematics discipline construction, and diversified talent development pathways. He proposed collaborative visions such as establishing internship practice bases, jointly organizing academic activities like "Academician Lectures," and conducting joint research projects. The Dean of the School of Mathematical Sciences introduced the college’s development history, faculty structure, and talent cultivation advantages. He suggested resource integration through measures such as building internship bases, co-founding mathematics laboratories, and organizing research exchanges between master/doctoral teams. He also emphasized promoting the transformation of teaching and research achievements through collaborative applications for basic education research projects. Deputy Secretary Ye Xing shared the college’s student cultivation quality, employment statistics, and annual "Mathematics Culture Month" achievements, expressing hopes for deeper cooperation in graduate employment and internships. Principal Fan Yongquan proposed leveraging university resources to strengthen mathematics competition teacher training, aligning with the school’s current competition cultivation needs. Director Sun Zongliang detailed the internship practices of the Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (Normal) program. The two sides preliminarily agreed to establish a tiered docking mechanism in curriculum co-construction, teacher training, research projects, and internship systems, striving to implement collaborative projects effectively.

This visit marked a "speed-up" in cooperation between the two institutions, signifying the beginning of a new collaborative phase. Moving forward, they will take internship base construction as a starting point to deepen cooperation in teacher cultivation, joint research, and employment promotion. Through these efforts, both sides aim to explore a new path of "two-way empowerment" between universities and secondary schools, breaking traditional educational barriers to achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages.
