On the afternoon of October 11, the Party Committee of the School of Mathematical Sciences, jointly with the School Trade Union, organized the school’s faculty and staff to visit the "Dacheng Dunhuang" Dunhuang Culture and Art Exhibition at Nanshan Museum. This "Warm Heart Workshop · Enrich Your Life" activity is a vivid practice for the School Party Committee to deepen the connotation of Party building, enhance cultural awareness, and strengthen cultural confidence.  

Listening to the detailed explanations from the docents, the teachers wandered among the restored caves, exquisite murals, and colored sculptures. From the solemn and compassionate Buddha statues to the elegant and agile Feitian (apsaras) figures, from the wise Jingbian stories (Buddhist sutra illustrations) to the life-like secular scenes, the teachers deeply felt the eternal charm and artistic impact of China’s excellent traditional culture. The participating teachers all said that this trip was not only a visual feast but also a profound cultural root-seeking journey and spiritual baptism, which strengthened their sense of identity and pride in Chinese culture.  

In the future, the school will adhere to the guidance of Party building, continue to take brand activities such as "Warm Heart Workshop · Enrich Your Life" as carriers, deepen aesthetic education, guide faculty and staff to consolidate cultural confidence through aesthetic experience, and gather the joint efforts for the school’s development.
