Time:2025-12-15 16:57

On the morning of December 9, 2025, Wang Yu, Party Secretary of the School of Mathematical Sciences at Shenzhen University, and Ye Xing, Deputy Party Secretary, led a delegation to conduct a thematic research visit at the School of Mathematical Sciences of Chongqing Normal University. Yang Jiangshui, Party Secretary of the School of Mathematical Sciences at Chongqing Normal University, and Zhao Kequan, Dean, attended the research symposium.

At the symposium, Dean Zhao Kequan first provided an overview of the School of Mathematical Sciences' overall development at Chongqing Normal University. Subsequently, Secretary Yang Jiangshui delivered a systematic presentation titled “Upholding Party Leadership to Drive High-Quality Development of the School,” outlining the school's comprehensive Party building efforts. He emphasized the School's core strategy of strengthening Party leadership through four major initiatives: “Anchoring Stewardship,” “Ideological Fortification,” “Organizational Cohesion,” and “Dual-High Integration.” Leveraging five operational mechanisms—political guidance, tiered responsibility fulfillment, dual-integration and dual-promotion, performance evaluation, and resource allocation—the School has comprehensively established a new framework where high-quality Party building drives high-quality institutional development.

Wang Yu, Party Secretary of the School of Mathematical Sciences at Shenzhen University, shared her school's experiences and distinctive approaches in Party building. She highlighted the “Warm-Hearted Workshop” Party building brand project developed by the school and provided detailed explanations on talent recruitment strategies, the development of high-level faculty Party members, and specific measures and achievements in promoting the deep integration of Party building with professional work to drive high-quality development through high-quality Party building.

During the exchange session, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and student affairs. Ye Xing, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Mathematical Sciences at Shenzhen University, and Yuan Xiaoyu, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Mathematical Sciences at Chongqing Normal University, exchanged views and experiences on these topics. Additionally, Xia Yuanmei, Party Branch Secretary of the Department of Operations Research and Statistics at Chongqing Normal University's School of Mathematical Sciences, shared valuable insights from her branch's development as a university “dual-leader” faculty Party branch. She detailed the cultivation and development path of this model branch, covering areas such as strengthening ideological development, serving local development, tackling professional challenges, deepening practical services, guiding academic competitions, building a strong professional team, and adhering to the principle of “going out and bringing in.”

This research activity strengthened mutual understanding between the two universities' Schools of Mathematical Sciences, laying a solid foundation for deeper collaboration in Party building innovation, talent cultivation, and discipline development. Both parties expressed their commitment to maintaining close communication, learning from each other, and jointly exploring effective pathways to advance the high-quality development of all school affairs through high-quality Party building.
