Lecture Title: The multiplicity of eigenvalues of nonnegative tensors and hypergraphs

Abstract: In this talk I will introduce Hu-Ye's conjecture on the multiplicity of tensor eigenvalues, and the progress on this topic including our recent work.

Biography: Fan Yizheng is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at Anhui University, a recipient of the Ministry of Education’s "New Century Excellent Talents" program, and an academic leader in Anhui Province. He serves as an Executive Council Member of the Chinese Mathematical Society and Vice President of the Anhui Mathematical Society. His research focuses on algebraic combinatorics and algebraic graph theory. He has led one Key Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and completed four general NSFC projects. He has published over 100 papers in prestigious journals such as Tran. AMS, Proc. AMS, J Combin. Theory Ser A, J Algebra Combin.
