Title:Extremal Problems in Spectral Graph Theory: An Eigenvector Perspective
Speaker:Associate Professor Liu Lele (Anhui University)
Time:8:30-9:30, Oct. 23, 2026
Location:Tencent Meeting: 897162281
Abstract: Spectral extremal graph theory seeks to determine how structural constraints influence graph eigenvalues and which graphs attain the resulting bounds. In this talk, we present several recent results from an eigenvector perspective, emphasizing how eigenvector weights guide graph modifications and reveal extremal structure.
Speaker Profile:Liu Lele is an associate professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences at Anhui University. His research focuses primarily on spectral graph theory and graph limit theory, particularly spectral extremal graph theory and spectral methods in graph limit theory. He has published more than 30 papers in top-tier journals in the fields of graph theory and combinatorics, including J. Combin. Theory Ser. B and SIAM J. Discrete Math. He currently leads two General Projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and an Outstanding Young Scholar Project funded by the Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation.
Faculty and students are welcome to attend!
