Speaker:Professor Chu Jifeng (Hangzhou Normal University)
Time:14:00-15:00, Oct. 30, 2026
Location:Tencent Meeting: 362352279
Abstract:We recall several results on rotational water waves, including the exact solutions, stability and bifurcation solutions.
Speaker Profile:Chu Jifeng holds a Ph.D. in Science from Tsinghua University and is a professor and doctoral advisor at Hangzhou Normal University. His research focuses primarily on the spectral theory of ordinary differential equations and ocean fluid dynamics. He has received the Fok Ying Tung Award for Young University Teachers, the Second Prize in Natural Sciences of Shandong Province, and the First Prize in the Shanghai Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award, among others. He has been selected for the Ministry of Education’s New Century Excellent Talents Support Program and is a Humboldt Fellow. He has led four General Projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and his research findings have been published in prestigious mathematics journals such as Advances in Mathematics, Mathematische Annalen, and the Journal of Differential Equations.
